suzzane donald HOW I GOT THE DISSERTATION HELP TO GET MY DISSERTATION AAPROVED !!!

When Dissertation Troubles Surrounded Me: This is an appreciative letter to thank the people who provided pin-point and professional dissertation help at the time when I was totally disappointed and had braced myself to meet the disaster regarding my PhD degree. It was the worst time of my life when I even thought of my dissertation disapproval. I was busy working and handling my social life. You can say that I was hanging in bala… Continue

Jenny Wren Chickens on Roadsides

What started as a particularly bitter status update quickly morphed into a full-blown "vent"... A little letting-off of steam: I find it fascinating that the meat industry feels compelled to use and/or invent aliases for the furry animals they hawk to make them more palatable to the average consumer (and I mean palatable in every sense of the word...) "Pork" ring any bells? Venison, anyone?! BEEF? What's next? An easily digestable catch-phrase for the dog, America's favorite four-legged animal?… Continue

Rosanne C. Short Labor Day at Porchview...

On a holiday weekend there is no better place, other than a chair on a sugar white sandy beach in the calm Caribbean with Corona in hand, to spend a holiday weekend other than porchview... at home with the family. It’s the end of the three day weekend, and I’m chilling on the screened porch, cats at my feet, as everyone comes in and out from jobs, school, and ‘time sharing’ with other parents, friends and boyfriends. The first round of kids left five minutes before the second round arrived. The… Continue

Cody Benson BB + Facebook = Bliss

I know I am an IT guy and should love technology (I do), but I hate having a ton of accounts (just like you). Since we are going to Blackboard(BB)8.0 Enterprise I thought I would test out the "Sync" application between BB and Facebook. It worked. Now before you get to excited you still have to visit BB in order to complete assignments, but you can catch up with announcements, posts, and all sorts of goodies from right inside Facebook. In the words of a professor who saw this today...Sweet. The o… Continue

Cody Benson Why Do You Care?

Well your here reading this and that's a start. Before we go on, yes this is about Blackboard 8. Enterprise but don't click away quite yet. I've spent two weeks on the road this July and to date I've attended 4 conferences over this summer with one constant theme. Web 2.0. I realize many of our faculty are saying what's that? Our studnets may not even know, but they use it all the time. Right now you are using it while reading this...web 2.0 is simply the rich innovative tools that engage users… Continue

Rosanne C. Short The porchview...

Well, here I am at "porch view", my favorite place on earth. My husband, Danny, and I live at the edge of the Forrest. There is a screened porch tacked (as an obvious after-thought) to the front of our 70’s ranch style home. The dead giveaway is where the screen meets the middle of the bay window and a gap large enough to be an insect highway allows bugs to enter. Sudoscreened is more like it. But, it is a great place to chill…my plants, cats and fountains are here. Some comfy wrought Iron furni… Continue

Heather Hartman Blackboard Enterprise -- Fall Semester

It looks like we'll be purchasing a server soon and are hoping to see a contract in the next few days for the Enterprise license. Even with this early start, it will be fall semester before we're able to deploy. In the interim, IT will install the new program, migrate all of the data we need, and receive training for the administrators to run it. So...get ready for Enterprise this fall! :-) We will be offering training for faculty, staff, and students through Online Studies and IT. This is very… Continue
