Any adventure that transports me to a different place and/or time. Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Clive Cussler, CS Lewis, A. Christie, just to name a few. Also children's books. I love children's books, like The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Way too much fun for the average adult!

Mostly 70's stuff - Zepplin, Yes, Moody Blues, ELO. Never grew out of that phase.

I love it! Humorously inspirational. It kind of reminds me of this poem:

Forgotten Language

Once I spoke the language of the flowers,
Once I understood each word the caterpillar said,
Once I smiled in secret at the gossip of the starlings,

Hayao Miyazaki is a famous Japanese animator. Some of his films are Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, and several others.
